Parting the Clouds
As we set out to the park on the second day of working with Teen Challenge, rain clouds had rolled in and it was chilly. Sprinkles were starting to fall. People started praying. Emily prayed, Ryan prayed, J prayed, and many others. We prayed for sun and no rain. As Ryan prayed for no rain he said, “God you parted the sea, you can part the clouds.” As we started the workshops in the gray shade, we started to get hot. I took off my sweatshirt and Emily looked up. She said, “Erin, go over and tell Ryan to look up.” The clouds had literally parted away from the sun. Not only was it not raining, but it was bright and sunny, and hot. God is good.
